Default who wants more Drift specific parts for the miata

So in my own frustration with building my v8 NB drift car i decided that all the custom parts i have had to make or have made i want to produce to make it easier for any other miata guys to get into the sport and be competitive. all these parts will be competitive pricing to the s chassis guys so it wouldn't be super expensive like all the JDM parts some people resort to buying.

obviously if there is interest i will get this stuff into production immediately and become a vendor here, as of now im not selling anything just checking interest.

Short list of parts and rough price estimates.

Modified Knuckles for more angle: $200 can be custom setup for more or less ackerman etc.
inner tie rod spacers - $20
Inner tie rods: not sure yet
Dual rear caliper setup for hydro e brake: price would be kit based. if u wanted calipers and lines included etc.
welded rear diffs: on an exchange program if local since its heavy and sucks to ship

any other parts you guys would want to see let me know. i'll post some pics of my setup so you can see the angle difference all the parts make.

please keep this positive if u don't like drifting that's fine please don't post BS in my thread i don't bash on ur hellflush threads so don't bash on mine. thanks

How many places did you post this copypasta? Cause we don't have any hellaflush threads that I'm aware of.

I sell a drift setup kit, which includes these extreme ratchet straps, along with a set of plates/hooks, which you can attach to your frame, bumper, or anything else. Attach the other end to a fixed object, and accelerate as hard as you can away from it.

Instant drift status: I'm doing a promo introduction, $399 for the set, with instructions. Yes, it's expensive, but it's a permanent investment in your drift car.

I'd be interested in modified knuckles with more ackerman.

Can you weld a good drift car out of a Miata? The answer is no. Miatas make poor drift cars because they have a low polar moment of inertia. This is actually one of the reasons they make good race cars. Adding the additional mass of a v8 might have helped yours improve but selling parts to idiots to promote them as drift cars is like trading glass beads to Indians for the island in Manhattan. Try a 240sx or RX7. They are inherently better platforms for drifting. Seriously

Watch out the drift police are out to getcha.

All the people on here will bash drifting, then go and tell you what makes good/bad drift car, Tell you how to drift ect....

You want to offer parts to the drift miata guys

Go to roadsterRIFT , That site just went back online and is drift only miatas.

Dont let anyone say that a 240 is better, its better for people who cant drive for ****. I have made 240s look foolish on the track. They may get more angle but their entry speed is ******* pathetic.

We need
Danny George stopped making knuckles, so we need those

Front lower control arms to clear wheel at max angle (with knuckles)and
increase positive caster.

Angle increasing tie rods, like the secrete element ones

Rear dual caliper kits or mods for true hydro handbrakes

bumper steer adjustable tie rod ends

Spools for the rear end

Everything else is pretty much made or not needed.

ya i know everyone on the forum is a master mechanic and a pro race car driver lol.

the knuckles are easy and can be made to have more or less ackerman.

the lca's would be a more expensive piece was talking about those today i just run a spacer to clear with my knuckles and tie rod spacers

the FC tie rod ends are a good replacement, however i prefer not using the spherical bearing ends.

i'm on that other site and it's pretty dead lately so i thought i'd post a few other places

Drifting is a disease. Why are we, the people of glorious MiataTurbo.net, letting this mental health issue slowly creep it's way onto our fine site?

I personally don't like drifting. But I do like it a lot more than the hella flush idiots that drop absurd amounts of money to transform the miata into the slowest POS ever... So, I'll save my time and efforts hating on them instead. welcome to the forum.

Can you fabricate something that will prevent my car from being destroyed when I slide it into a wall? Maybe a huge nerf cover?

Drifting is an activity for figure skaters at heart who don't have the self-confidence for a sequined jumpsuit.
