Default Lsd axle hub?

Hi I have miata turbo 97 I want buy os giken lsd I know this unit able 600+hp .
Now my miata have 330 whp and 40 kg/m. At the future I want about 550 hp.
Who much can able hp the axle and hub?
Buy the osgiken and replace the axle ?
Or going ford lsd and the parts?

At 550hp you need something better than the OEM hardware. The ring and pinion won't be able to handle that kind of power for long. I would plan to do a 8.8 instead.

You've been here 6 years and you don't realize there are no 550hp cars floating around? Buy a corvette and get your 550, Miata is not the platform to do it in.

You mean how much horsepower can the axle and hub handle? Around 300-400 and they start breaking with drag launches. Ask this guy:

He was breaking them somewhere north of 350 if I remember correctly.

I would say its less power than that, CSP cars break them from time to time at ProSolos and those have drag launches. Thats like 150-190 hp, with 275 wide slicks. From tintubas perspective and kind of mine as well. You want to break axles, because it means you're not breaking the diff, the driveshaft, or the transmission.

so far i have not broke any axles, just grenaded the torsen and r+p, now im only making 285 ftlbs, but i was doing alot of launches on street tires. I didnt break untill i got wheel hop at the strip
