Default Anyone running these wheels? (ATS 15x8)

Mazda Performance Parts: ATS 15x8 DTC COMP SUPERLIGHT, 30mm offset, 4x100, 4x108...IN STOCK NOW--SPECIAL!

13x8 +30mm

Just wondering fitment on stock fenders (with roll of course). Would it be realistic to run a 225 NT01 on these without major rubbing issues?

These seem like a good buy price wise.

Brian Goodwin would be a great resource for answering this question!

He's good that way. Knows his products and is happy to share.

6uls are 1lb lighter per corner at the same size.

I have them. They are mounted up with 225/45-15 NT-01. With a fairly light spring, 350/250, 12/12.5 ride heights, the fronts rub like a **** on both the lip and the top liner bolt on the autocross course. Rub so bad that the tire pulls the lip down after a hard run. On a road course, when you pull >1.1 man Gs, the rear will rub, as well. I would highly recommend a roll with these wheels, and remove the inner liners from the front.

A pic from the p.o. of the car sporting these wheels with a 225/45-15 RS-2.

Those look good!.

Are your fenders not rolled?

I have no problem giving them a good roll since I'm going flared sometime in the future anyways.

Nice pic. How do you find the grip? Are you t-charged?

Yes, but everyone runs 6ul's and I like to be different. These wheels will also give me a bit of a wider stance and are slightly less expensive. But not by much so it's really neither here nor there...

What kind of bar is that? It looks taller than usual. May just be the angle of the shot, though.

Hard dog double diagonal? I think the Solo legal bars are a bit higher and further forward than non approved bars.

Damn, I hope I don't spark other people's intrest!

My plan is to powdercoat them a different color. Should look cool when I'm done. Well I have to buy them first... but I will eventually.

Always like those wheels allot. I had a set in 15x7 (on both my cars in my sig pic), and the 15x8's were like finding the holy grail, so I was really surprised when Goodwin started selling them again. If I were you, I'd buy 5 just in case you damage on some day, because once Goodwin sells out of them, I doubt you'll be able to find them anywhere else.

Hard dog double, soft top. It looks high in the pic, I think it is just the angle. We have a hard top bar in the other car, it is much lower and a little further back than this one. If anyone was asking...

Fenders not rolled in the pic, they are rolled and pulled now. I have 9" 6ULs with 275 Hoosiers going on for autocross, I will be testing fitment later this week.

I am turbocharged, had 210-220 whp on a bone stock 1.6 last year, building up a 1.8/'00 head for 2010. The grip from this setup is amazing, I use maxqdata and can find 1.15+ Gs with no gravity helpers (banking, suspension compression, etc). Everyone needs NT-01 goodnezz.

Wow He finaly got those back. I have a set of the 15X8 ATS's and I really like them. It is just that my 9" wheels have made them Obsolete. I’m thinking of keeping them as my street wheels and selling a set of 15X8 6ULs I have because I like the way the ATS’s look on my car better. Also need to get rid of the some Team Dynamics.

My current quiver of wheels looks like this.

15X9 6UL two sets
15X8 6UL one set
15X8 ATS Comp lite one set
15X7 Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 one set
15X7 Sprint Hart CPF one set.

With the 30 offset and 225 tires you will need to roll the fender lips.

He posted back in March that he received 10 sets. I wonder if he's still selling those 40 wheels, or if he keeps replenishing stock.

Too late by that time I had tried 9's and lost interest in 8's
