Default My trackspeed experience as a customer

To start I really like going with smaller companies.

I have had 2 transactions with TSE in the past 90 days.

First time I purchased the dw300 and FF injectors . I accidentally selected to ship them overnight on a friday. Within about 45 min of purchasing I received a email from him. He stated he didn't have it in stock and tried frantically to make something happen for me , luckily it was an accident and told him don't worry about overnight shipping. Was very happy with his ability to handle that scenario. The problem however is I didn't get refunded the overnight shipping charges. So at like a $20 difference I wasn't gonna make a stink. But still..

Second purchase I ordered the BBK and proportioning valve, after purchasing I didn't hear anything from him. So I called and asked what's up? He said he was waiting on hats so I said cool whenever you get to it shoot me an email. So about a week letter he hit me up with a tracking number. I just got it today! Everything looks awesome!
EXCEPT! !!!!!!!!!!!!
THEY DON'T COME WITH PADS! COME ON GUY WHO DOES THAT!
I really wish he would say on his website that it doesn't come with pads. That's all. With small companies I expect snafus! I get it. But seriously why would a big brake kit not come with pads ?

Overall I really like TSE I give 9/10******* Amended to a 10/10********
I would mend it to a 10/10 if TSE makes it obvious and or write on the BBK page that it doesn't come with PADS or amend to unloaded calipers. For the sake of other people and to save me shipping because now I have to order them and pay shipping when they could have been put in the BBK box

Thanks for the feedback!

I found our email convo on the initial order. You never requested a refund of the shipping charges, so I never provided one. I'd be happy to do so now - just shoot me an email and I'll look up and refund the difference.

As far as pads with our BBK, we do that. We've never included pads with our BBKs, going all the way back to the release of our Gen1 kit in 2009. Our belief is that with so many compounds available from a variety of manufacturers, it's best to simply omit the pads (and the cost of the pads) and let our customers run whatever pad they'd like. I've never had anyone complain, until this week, when two people (including you) mentioned that they expected pads with their BBK. I just edited the product page to make it clear that the BBK doesn't come with pads.

NA don't worry about the refund on shipping. I am glad you fixed the Web page. That's was fast!
So I am now amending my 9/10 to an official 10/10 for what it's worth.
I need front pads and a rear brake solution as my rear calipers are seizing. And now that I think about I do need to get a fpr with gauge. And singular motors ports 3" ducts with ducts lol

Having never bought a BBK, I would assume though you would purchase pads separately due to different drivers wanting different pads.

949, FM and fab 9 all have a drop down menus (on the BBK page when you select add to cart) to select that's inc in price or will change based on selection. However at the time Tse had no options/drop down menu. I didn't even think that it didn't come with it as it did not state the calipers were unloaded nor did it (at the time) express that the price didn't Inc pads.

However I let him know and he fixed it. The only thing that I am frustrated about is if I knew I would have ordered pads at the time of purchase which would not have cost me any extra money to ship. Now I have to pay shipping.
Other than that I can't fault him , I am just expressing the fact that it wasn't clear and there was nothing to indicate at the time that it did not come with pads (at the time of purchase). However it is now fixed, I really wanted to express that so the next person doesn't make the same mistake I did when purchasing a BBK from Tse who I would still happily recommend. Though fab9 is cheaper and comes with pads for less then the kit from Tse without pads.

See, constructive criticism from a customer, taken positively from the company. If only both parties behaved this way more frequently, the "game/ scene" would have such a drastic change in reality.

Good on the both of you for being mature, a rarity these days

HA! See thats why I bought it from you! Though I didnt realize it wasnt a 11.75" THEY DONT SPECIFY so I would now assume its 11". If I would have bought those I would have been pissed lol.

Hence I am happy with my purchase, my interaction with your company/you and my products.

ADDED* Also they do not come with lines or fluid. So best deal by a LONG SHOT is the TSE BBK.

That's criticism meant to improve a company's product or service. I've had criticism in the past that clearly was meant to just vent the customer's frustration (name calling and whatnot) because reasons. Help us became better, every one wins.

Forgive my ignorance but what is your company name? I tried to find it a couple days ago. I know I am really showing the green behind my ears. I run a company in the automotive field so I know what it is like on the other end.
