ProSolo does have a "drag" style launch start lol

Front and rear abs sensors. Cut power if over a slip threshold.

Doesnt work for turning. You need a different slip rate depending on the turn radius. I can launch fine, only getting 3 shots to nail powering out of 40+ corners in a single run makes it worth it. Same way having to brake at most 10 times makes abs worth it.

I cannot give a good comparison between the 2 tires but that being said I have a 225hp NB that I autocross(8-10 events this year so far) and have been running the 245 vr1 on 9" wheel. Overall I've been very happy with the grip level that I have and the tires have been wearing well. And going from a 110hp na to a 225hp nb wasn't as much as a handful as I was anticipating it to be.

I was trying to hold out for he next issue of GRM to see how the VR1 did in autox, I'm sure we can safely assume the Rivals dominated once again. Ultimately it came down to price, free shipping and scca discount was too good to pass up.

^ that issue has been out for like a month. The VR1 actually was much closer to the rivals in autocross, where the added width made up for the tire compound.

Follow the advice here and practice. I've been running an MSM with similar power since 2009 (started in STU; now in XP) and while it can be handful, it's super nimble once you get used to it.

BTW, I love R-S3 and Z214 from Hankook. Maxxis slick is great at the track, but haven't tried it at autox.
