Default Used 6UL wheel price

What is a fair price for Gen2 6ULs? I have two extra 9" wheels with minimal rash and a buddy wants to buy them. I am not sure I want to sell them because if I suddenly find myself with a cracked wheel I will be screwed like he is now. I offered to loan them to him but he insists on a price to buy them. Please help....

Pick a price that makes you comfortable not having them as backup, if he agrees to it, sell them. If not, don't.

I was wondering what people were asking for them. I know the demand is high and the supply is low, but don't know what is a fair price.

Then ask your buddy what he is willing to pay for them, if you like that price, sell them.

People get way to hung up on "did I overpay" or "did I get screwed"? There will ALWAYS be someone that comes along and says, "Sheesh, I only paid $3.50 and pack of gum for a set of 6ULs, you scammer." Or vice-versa.

My point is, forget whatever the "market" is and come to an agreeable price with your friend.

Or don't.

If I were selling used 6ULs today, they'd get sold at retail.

There is a guy selling a set of four 9" 6ULs near me with (3k miles) rivals mounted on them. He is asking $1100.

If I had the money they would be mine.

$1100 is a good deal, that's about $500 less than it would cost to buy, ship, mount, and pay tax on that setup if 15x9 6ULs were actually available new.

Anyone know what the expected date on more 15x9 and 15x10 6ULs is?

http://949racing.com/wheeltech.aspx:

"Gen IV 6UL 06/14-"
It would appear that Gen 4 could start production OR be available in June.

I have an almost identical set of really nice used 15x9 6ULs/225Rivals but the tires only have about 1000 miles on them, (only used at the Deal's Gap and Boone Miata events last year) and if anyone wants them for $1100 hit me up.
