Impressive...
I did the baseball trick with a piece of 2.5" exhaust pipe. I really had to inflate the tires a bit so the pipe wouldn't just press into them, and then I really had to use it like a pry bar to get it to move much. Worked, but still didn't crush it as much as your method.

i at first also tried the bat thing and after attempting that method, i thought whoever first mentioned that should be slapped....
then i went and got the following
1. heat gun
2. garden gloves (or anything to keep your hand from burning when heat up the paint)
3. metal 2lb mallet
first start to heat up your fender to keep the paint from cracking. just make sure you dont burn it or make your paint bubble (i made sure this didnt happen). once its hot enough, start tapping with the mallet. each section you tap, make sure you have your hand on the other side applying force to keep it from warping or doing anything funny.
do this taking your time and only smack it lil by lil moving along your fender lip. dont do one section all at once cause this will defeat the purpose of heating up the paint to prevent cracking.
try this method and i you wont look back. when i did this, everyone though i used a proffesional fender rolling tool
