But... Do they actually have them in stock? Litmus test on 6ULs.

I find it HILARIOUS that someone would go through the effort to make this wheel using a different casting, and then add 949racing and 6ul to it.
That's what happens when you mail a wheel to a third wheel nation to get knocked off. Guy reproducing it has no idea what "949racing", "6ul" or "JWL" mean so he leaves all the stamps there.

These are not made with our tooling. Different spoke shape and very different bell design. So no one "left them in there". The brands and design were intentionally used without license or permission for a new wheel tool.

I meant they sent one of your wheels to a 3rd world supplier to copy and the guy building the tool had no idea what those stamps meant so he/she "left them there." I didn't mean to imply they were using your tooling.

Probably not. The font on the copies is generic machine font. Ours a 3D logo with a unique font design. They copied the characters only. I'm sure the company that made or commissioned these specifically wanted to use our brand name to fool the public into thinking they were made by us. Our brand is just as valuable as the design at this point.

Fake Rolex's say "Rolex". There are also "Roler" watches that are virtually identical.

Sure it's a shitty business practice but if anyone googles 949racing then your website comes up as well. It actually might drive a few extra sales your way.

They say that imitation is the sincerest for of flattery.

Honestly, Emilio, you haven't really made it until someone has created a cheap knock-off of your product. Think of all of the various "Greddy" products available on eBay. Or of the "Oakley" sunglasses and "Prada" handbags that you can buy for $10 off the sidewalk here in Manhattan.

I'm impressed.

I didn't even think about people trying to sell these as counterfeits for some reason. I guess I forget how shitty the automotive aftermarket can be.

Make no mistake, what Stance Magic and any counterfeiter has done is theft.

Copying our design for markets where we have no design patent, unethical. Using our actual brand names, despicable.

You should ban yourself.

The sad thing is it's not like 6ULs cost an insane amount of money. They are very nicely priced.

That's the funny thing. From TurboTim's link, they were 49,000 yen, which was like $500 for a set of 15x8s. Not even that much cheaper.

If it wasnt for 949 and 6UL being on them I would never guess that they had anything to do with 6UL in my opinion they look like an inspired 6UL wheel but I can see major differences in shape and angles. That being said if I could get them and 380 for 4. Id buy them.

Good to know where you stand on supporting vendors who support us. Let's just hope you don't endanger anyone else when your shitty wheels explode.

Ha firstly stfu don't talk to me like that. Secondly there are plenty of knock off wheels that are out there that don't explode and perfectly fine for use. I support the venders plenty. A lot venders over price parts errgghmm cough rev 9. I'm interested in seeing an exploding wheel. Please post a link sounds awesome.
