Default WTB: CAS cover

anyone have a bad CAS lying around?

supposedly the metal CAS cover will fit right onto my escort distributor in place of the distributor cap. this would make for a nice clean install when i eventually go distributorless.

if you feel like selling me the cover (or the whole CAS) for cheap, shoot me a PM.

huh? no... he hasn't posted a price for "that" part. he says "he's got various ignition parts for sale as well, like ignitors and the such"... unless you contacted him about it?.
he's pretty decent price wise. i've bought from him before. tell him you want the "julio-tastic" discount. lol. he'll hook you up right.

eh, don't worry bout it. i'll post on it and ask him how much he'd want. just tell me what you want, exactly, and i can copy/paste to the site. i'll let him know it's for another member... i think he might be on here, but i'm not sure. he's got a 93 turboed.

Uh... 99+ miata's didn't have a CAS or a distributor. They just had a freeze plug that pressed into the area to seal it up. If you plan on deleting the distributor, just get the plug that any 99+ miata uses. Hell, just measure the bore diameter and find a freeze plug that size. Cost less than a dollar probably.

i'll still be using the CAS, i'm not adventurous enough to actually installed a toothed wheel on the crank.

I can only imagine that the 99+ factory toothed wheel and 99 valve cover will fit your motor. And if you run an MS, you can build the circuits to read these sensors. Seem like it would all bolt up and work. Better than a CAS.
