Default WTB softop rear window

This might be the wrong forum in general for such a newb request, but I've been calling trim shops and they all want $175 to put a new rear window in my homo-soft-top.

There has to be a cheaper option.... Anyone have one? Anyone have tips on where to get one, or a DIY link?

This is my first convertible car. Window is currently GONE, I do however have some material the PO gave me for making a new window.

IDK if I even have the "zipper" all the trim shops kept asking me about, haven't really looked at it yet.

Do a search on Ebay; there is a guy there that sells the 'glass', tinted or untinted, and gives instructions on how to do it. emiata.com?

^^ Thanks, I did a search and didn't find anything though. I'll keep trying.

So trim shops want $175 just to sew in my window.... pic below:

What if I just bought:

THIS OFF EBAY

It would be the same price. Mine has a few small tears in it anyway.

Is it a major PITA to replace the entire top?

Please school a noob.
