I have all the parts you need for the M2 -> M1 conversion sitting in a box (plus some spares).

I'll take $50+ shipping

NB mounts are same on all 4 corners... so are the NA I think.

but the rear is where you have travel limitations.

I have a set for sale, just came off my car a few days ago.
Comes with both the FM stops and boots (I already cut them to fit my car's needs) plus barely used FCM 46mm bumpstops.

I found once the front of my car dropped to around 12.1 inches, I needed more suspension travel in the front as well as the rear.
Otherwise I would be on the bumpstops as soon as I entered a corner or hit a bump.

something else to consider, NB mounts will also drop the car a little more (the mount is shorter then an NA mount, so the perch height is different), while FM mounts will not.
But the NB mounts will not sacrifice any droop travel, while the FM mounts will rob you of 2 inches of droop travel. <---- rather or not this removal of 2 inches of droop travel is even a problem on a lowered car is still up for debate.
Many STS2 cars autocrossing with the FM rear mounts that haven't experienced any problems, I never lifted either of my rear tires off the ground at the track or on the street.

I don't know about the FM mounts but the NB mounts move the top mounting point higher so they would reduce droop travel somewhat.

That would only reduce droop travel is if the spring perch portion of the mount was in the same location as NA OEM, as it is on the Flyin'Miata mounts.
On the NB mounts (as well as the FCM mounts) the spring perch sits higher than OEM, as does the mounting position of the shock shaft.
So in effect, you don't lose any droop travel with the NB mounts, but you do lose it with the FM mounts.
