Default GA: Harddog Hardcore Rollbar

Doing this for a friend.

NA or NB. I'm open to all types really, just can't afford the $525 shipped of a new one. In the Georgia region/surrounding states preferably.

Thanks

I know of a bar similar to the NA Hardcore but the diagonals are within the main hoop. As in they go from the top of the main hoop down to the sides of the main hoop. I don't have pictures but I know the bar is located in McDonough, GA and was designed to be SOLO 1 approved as its 1.75 DOM tubing with the appropriate mounting locations and plates. It does not however have the backing plates, those would have to be made.
I'll see if I can find a picture but I doubt it. I'd sell it for 350.

I am selling my car so I am selling my roll bar also. It is a HardDog Hard Core with dual diagnal cross braces. It will fit and mx-5 from 1989 to 1998 with a plastic rear window. I have all of the mounting hardware since I just took it out of my car on Monday. This bar is the one version that is approved ny the SCCA for on-track use. It is in very good shade. there is on spot where the paint is worn through. (see photo) If you have any questions just e-mail or give me a call. (860) 368-1934 I can show it anytime. $375

Cool. Does it allow for seat reclining (aimed at first post)? Everyone's gotta be able to lean back while hitting up the strip. He's got his eye on a bar on ebay which ends soon so hopefully that works out.

That's a good find on the South Carolina one. I'll show him that.

Well the ebay one went for $400. He's gonna give the hardcore one in SC a call I think.

Those things have amazing resale values. I advertised one for sale at $350 (M1 HC DD), thinking that I was starting a bit high and would back down if need be, and had like a dozen "I'll take it" emails within a couple hours.

You're right Ben. They have incredible residuals. The one that went on ebay wasn't even the preferred model.

It doesn't allow for full seat recline IIRC. Hard for me to tell though as I never installed it because i have an NB and my buddy with the NA never dropped it in either. IIRC it had a wear spot where the seat touched the diagonal.
Offer still open. Otherwise it's going on CL.

I don't think he'll go for it. He's a little girl about getting the exact bar he wants.
