Not sure if I need it or not, should know by this evening, but figured I'd go ahead and see who has one ready to ship. Post here or PM with info.

I've got one, make an offer and I'll look for a box.

Off a '93 with 96k total on it.

what makes you think you need one?

watch your voltage in Tuner Studio...turn on the a/c and see what voltage you get at idle, when mine started failing, my voltage would drop below 12.5v and constantly drain lower and lower the longer I idled, saw 11.2v at the lowest before i swapped it from my old spare motor.

Splitime, will let you know tonight if I need it, thanks.

Brain -- not running MS yet. Reason for suspecting alternator:

How long do these typically last? I ask because my car only has 95k miles...if I buy an alternator with 96k miles, how long before it craps out too?

There is no specific mileage that they fail at. I have a friend with 212k and the original unit, no issues. I have seen them (1.6L units) fail before 80k.

This. I have swapped many a alternator, and it typically ends being something else. I have an onesix alternator if **** gets tight....
