Default Megasquirt 2 or newer

I am looking for a ms2 or newer for my turbo build non plug and play. Must be in good shape and fully functional. Something within reason price wise. Not looking to have it given to me but something that's 50-100 bucks off new to me is insane. Especially on used electronics. Let me know what you got.

Electronics aren't really a wear item, which is why you're seeing the prices you're seeing.

I agree with you but you can buy a already built ms2 off diyautotune for like 435-445. I see people trying sell kits they bought and made and want more then what they are assembled buy professionals. I guess this is what I am referring too!!

You're probably comparing PNP kits to DIY's kit that requires you to make an adapter harness or just an entire new engine harness.

DIY's PNPs (which are the bulk of what's sold here, and also what you're looking for if you're going to specify that you're looking for one for your 91 1.6 Miata) are not $435-$445 new. Anywhere.

This is what you're looking for from DIY: MegaSquirtPNP MM9093 Gen 2 for the 1990-93 Mazda Miata, manual tranny DIYAutoTune.com

Make more sense now?

Then why does it matter what year your car is in your original post?

Considered this? MicroSquirt Engine Management System DIYAutoTune.com

I understand that the PNP are $800 new I never disputed that. That's not what I am after I just want a regular MS2 system. I know I have to make a harness and I am fine with that. Thank you for your input and clarification

I guess I didn't realize it made a difference when I listed my year and model I will edit that out. I thought about the micro but was under the impression it works on cars but is limited? I know its the same as a MS2 from what I read but I also like the idea of being able to upgrade to MS3 if I ever wanted too. I was also unsure if it met all my parameters. I do like the idea of a small unit like that though.

Ok well... to help you out, you might want to mention that you're looking for a universal box in the OP, otherwise everyone will read it and think "well, it's not PNP for a 90-93, so he won't be interested."

At least, that's what i would do.

[edit]

You already got it.

I couldn't ever bring myself to buy a pre assembled unit, putting it together is half the fun!

I agree I like to tinker and I am not unskilled with a soldering iron. Just the thought of not finishing it due to time restraints going to school full time and working full time plus being married don't leave me a lot of time for me!! I really want to be driving this in 2 months or so and unsure if work and school plus life in general will allow it.

Bump it. Still looking. Who's got one laying around. Someone has to have one. Check those garages, sheds, basements and also your smashed miata's!!
