Need a CAS (crank angle sensor, later known as the camshaft angle sensor). 90-97, doesn't really matter as long as it works. Prefer that it came off of a known running car.

Thanks!

I don't know if the Escort CAS is the same. Hopefully someone will chime in.

Can you test the CAS?

The easy way to check it w/o installation is to just plug it in and spin the shaft. The fuel pump should run, and the injectors and coils will fire.

The bad 96 CAS that I have looks perfect inside and out. It gave waveforms on the 'scope, but not quite enough to make anything happen.

For the record, a 90-93 CAS fires the 96 ECU just fine.

I hate to make offers. I does me no good to insult anybody. Just PM me what you want shipped to TX and if it is fair, I'll buy it. (I sold a 96 CAS last year for $30 shipped, insured, FedEx Ground)
