The owner of PR Motorsports explained to me once why this is false. IIRC the auto rad has more capacity but so much of it is not used by the coolant that it's actually worse than the manual rad.

Then why don't you just get any of the proven, all-aluminum cheap radiators that everyone else where uses.

Cooling capacity doesn't matter to the OP, only the material.

Paypal info sent. Seeing as it's for a lemons, you need anything else minor? I might be able to throw it in with the rad if I have it.

Pics of said Miata?

I guess the capacity doesn't matter so much since it's not going on a high-strung track ***** car like Sav's or Hustler's.

He paid me promptly and I got it together to ship but for some reason, mine has plastic top and bottom tanks. I didn't know that there even was such a thing but it is an auto unit with the fittings in the bottom tank. I pulled it from an auto car myself. The tanks are very black, not the normal green or brown, so I guess that it might be a fairly new aftermarket unit. I let him know and told him that I would refund the money if it wasn't what he wanted. He did want an all metal for durability so I refunded his money the same day.

In any case, if anyone has an all metal unit, he is good buyer/fast payments.
