Cool Project Fe3

Hey all there are some bits I am looking for to propel my fe3 project I'm under going atm. Recently went to a bunch of yards and found one 93 five speed 1.6. I bought the Cas but it ends up being Magnetic style. I am in search of a complete automatic engine harness, ecu, tps, and optical cas from a 1.6. Shipping would be to 63303. Thanks a bunch.

Yes that is what I intend to do untill my standalone gets sorted out. Gave up on the project sold my megasquirt I was planning on using unfortunately. Been doing some reading and found some inexpensive motivation, I have read into several threads about people fooling the 1.6 ecu with a rx vaf and probe gt injectors (330), and afpr. Mainly Randy Stocker and a member named 3gonn (egonn) said that they have gone this route previous to there standalone systems. Some claiming years of use. Although not optimal, I am hopefull to follow into these peoples footsteps. Would be nice to know how it reacted, or to read some posts back when the where driving on this setup.

MS is the inexpensive solution.

if youre running a 1.6L ECU then it doesn't matter if you run optical or magnetic.

I would focus on getting the MS up and running. It would work much better than a miata ECU. Or you can do what some older timers did 12 years ago.

I've bought a MS1 and two Miatalinks in the last year for less than $200 each. If you can't manage that, I'm not sure an engine swap is in your budget.
