Default WTB USA - Canadian going to Idaho - advice on better automotive & hardware stores

Heading to Idaho for a family event. Have not been on US soil for 8 years. I really like the US for your freedoms & rights, the weather and because it truly is the promised land. I'm 6 hours north of the MT border. I'm buying up all your US items because they are sometimes 50% cheaper that what we pay. Even all the little items add up when every single one is 50-25% cheaper, so I'm nickle and dimeing myself poor when I go down there.

3 small examples Rotella T6 5L CAN $38-48 US $23
Maxlife ATF 5L CAN $29 US $18
RockAuto order was $100 CAN shipped to MT, priced out at $320 CAN locally (4 shocks and 4 wiper blades, yes wiper blades because they are 4 times cheaper at RA)

I already placed my RockAuto/FM orders to ship to a border holding business.

I'll be buying some items and loading up my van. I need a bunch of silicone hose, some metric bolts, an exhaust spreader, maybe some tires etc. Wal-Mart is way cheaper for oils so I will be buying oils there, and maybe some electronics.
I also need some Reflectix, peel-n-seal, exhaust slip clamp, few hand tools, a clay bar, some Menzerna SI 2000 or IP 2000 (haven't decided), polishing pads, etc

Is siliconeintakes.com better pricing than any Brick & Mortar stores ?

What is a good autoparts, hardware store for the above needs? I hear talk of AutoZone, Lowes, HomeDepot, anyone else ?

If I could I'd fill a tanker truck with gasoline and milk because of your prices I would do that as well....... I will be taking the sunshine and Vitamin D back for free at least.....

Well, you guys have better deals up there on Milk than we do... lol If you buy the milk in the bags anyways. (we dont have milk in bags here in 'Murca) But the milk in the jugs that you guys have, costs about $1 more than ours.

The gas.... we definitely have it cheaper... its not CHEAP by any means, but alot cheaper than you guys have it. It costs me about $36 to fill my tank from empty to full with 94 octane here... I drove to Chelmsford ON Canada about a month ago, and i couldn't fill my tank for less than $50, and who knows what octane it was... i just got the highest that they offered (probably 91, it wasnt posted). lol

For the Rotella T6, I would go to Walmart.... They have it on the shelf for $21

For the other stuff, if you can find an O'reilleys Auto Parts in Idaho, try them out. I ALWAYS got good deals on stuff at O'reilleys

If there are any advance auto's near where you are going you can do online orders with a 30% off coupon and then pick up in store. It is an excellent deal if you need parts. ACE Hardware is what you want to find if you want to buy nuts and bolts.

Thanks guys.

I'll try those stores mentioned.

Milk in bags, they tried that in Alberta but no one liked it. People like jugs, mmm jugs.

Living in Canada 5 minutes from the border to Michigan is the best thing ever. My daily is getting low on gas? Guess I'll go on a parts run to Michigan and fill up while I'm there lol

5 min from the border would have some benefits.

No Advance Auto in those 2 states.

In Idaho and Montana whats the popular local buy and sell site? Up here Kijiji is hugely popular, is it still Craigslist in those 2 states ?
