Cold Start ?
 

Now that it's getting colder I'm having a really hard time getting my car started. I've been trying to get it started for the past two days and haven't gotten anywhere except for a dead battery. I know i have to adjust my crank timing and fuel table but I'm not 100% sure on what I should change it to. Can anyone help? I've included my map.

Whats your engine size and injector size?

Looking at your cranking table, either you have huge injectors, or you're not even close to having the right amount of fuel.

I have a 1.8 with 600 cc injectors.

Oh in that case, the values seem fine, i run 70ms and you have 60+ which is close enough.
Does the car fire and then dies shortly after?

Try crank timing at 9 degrees.

You have a lot of post crank enrichment.
You shouldnt really need more than 20-30 percent.
I only have 6% and 3%.
My car is a Corolla, but i find the values pretty close.

The car deoesnt turn over. It just keeps on cranking. I almost had it start last night but no go.

Your long post crank seems too high and your cranking fuel is almost half what mine is in the cold. I think my cranking fuel is considered way too high for 600cc injectors though but it works for me.

Your cranking settings are similar to mine, but i have 440cc injectors, so yea, your using about 1.5x more fuel than you need.

Generally it seems at low temperatures too much fuel is ok, but too little is definitely not, then in the intermediate temperatures (40C-70C) The engine is EXTREMELY sensitive to too much or too little. Also, you can use flood clear on the rev limit tab if you over fuel the engine. Basically when you mash the gas it cuts the injectors out, or reduces them greatly.

I'm definitely doing something wrong. :( I changed out my spark plugs and that helped me get it started since I flooded out the ones i put in less than 2 weeks ago... When the car was running at idle my AFR was 9.5 to 1. I haven't made any changes to my fuel table so i'm pretty much lost at this point.

Now isn't this during cranking only? I never understood why that feature was in there. If someone is mashing the throttle during cranking, aren't they trying to get more fuel to start the car?

Not always, like if your tuning the vehicle you might accidnentally add too much cranking fuel, this quickly clears out whats in there, and lets you try again. Its definetely a tuning feature, and not really a DD feature.

Try 0 degrees in the Ign Timing when Cranking field.
