Dead time correction for 460cc
 
I cannot seems to find specific information online. If you are using RX7 460cc injectors, can you share with me your dead time correction?
These are the injectors I am using
- 1989-1991 Mazda Rx-7 Fuel Injectors
Part# Denso 195500-2010
460cc High Impedance

Those settings work for my rx7 460's though

Sorry I'm a newb, but is that the same as minimum injector opening time?

My MSPNP has 1.2 ms set in it and I was curious why it wasn't the normal 1.0 ms, but that is for another thread.

I tested with the MS2 (switching between 2 and 4 squirts per cycle) and came to an deadtime of 1.185 ms. 460cc RX7 inj.

Can someone explain to me the advantage of having a 100% accurate deadtime figure?!

I'd like to know that too.
DIYPNP maps have 1.6 cars at 1.0ms and 1.8 cars at 1.2ms.

My map is set to 1.2ms on stock injectors. If I change it to 1.0ms I then need to add 20% to all of my VE table so what's the point of dead time being accurate?

Quoted this from another forum:
"if you have a latency at say 14V of 0.6ms and a trim is applying say 12% more or less, to the map number, which will give more than +-12% actual fuel as the latency in is there as well(so with latency compensation your trimming is effectively finer and more accurate), the difference in AFR change between high and low opening times of that change will also be different without lags compensated in the ecu (as the lag makes up a greater or lesser portion of the time in the map), but should be very consistent with reasonably accurate lag in the software."

Having said that, the last time when my alternator belt broke, I was running about 10.2v and it lean out big time.
