Default Mid-West Tuners

Anyone know of a tuner in the mid-west that is familiar with the Adaptronic? I want to pay someone to tune this thing for daily driving. The coolant high/low, predictive throttle, all of the other daily bullshit. Willing to drive to Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, etc.... I'm tired of fighting this thing. I just want it done. I want to drop this thing off, come back and pick up a car that works.

If you want all that tuned.. i'll be the one to say it, dont waste your money.

I expected the same when i went to Travis but reality is, you'll never get your engine at most of those conditions, you'll never start your engine at 0` or whatever while you're there unless they leave your car till next mourning and its exactly that temp.. so forth.

Sadly Adaptronic is a new ecu so we gotta make our own ---- from scratch as not many miata people are running it yet.

That's your latest and greatest correct? Made for stock 240cc injectors, and OEM ECU controls idle. Anything else I missed? Going to go give it a try. What happened to your 800cc injectors?

I am running the stockers for the winter for now since in case my car cant start i can go back to stock fast. Once it warms up i'll toss the 800s back on.
At 6psi the stockers are running out of fuel at 6.5k rpm but i'm still under 12 afr so i'll live with them till the spring and then up the boost when i switch.

Your aux outputs might be different for the NB2 models however your warmups/coolant low/high etc should be the same.
I think that map should be the same but let me pull mine tomorrow for you just to be sure i didnt change anything since then.

Would really appreciate it. I had the car some what behaving last time I drove it hard (Fall of 2010). Rebuild the engine and other stuff last year, fired it up this year and nothing seems to be working. It's been anywhere from 30° to 75° and it seems to behave widely different. I'm really frustrated with it. Thank you for any help you offer.

Edit: for the record, I pulled my 800's too and trying to get it to run on the stock MSM injectors for now.

Triple, thank you for your map! It drives much better. Of course it was 70 today, so we'll see what happens when it gets down to 30 again, but I'm much more optimistic. I have a few questions about your file if you don't mind.
1.) What does the aux output on 2 RPM 5300/5800 do?
2.) There must be a setting i missed somewhere because your file actually has it cut fuel on coast. I couldn't never figure that out. How did you do that?
3.) Your minimum value on idle percentage is 60%. Why? If I understand that correctly, the Idle valve is always open at least 60%?
4.) What does the Logic on Aux out 7 do? I see the reference to logic 10/11 but I don't understand what the purpose is?
Aux 7: OR 10/11
Aux 10: Water Temp 90/96
Aux 11: A/C 2500/2500

Thank you again! PM sent to you.

I havent sent a map to you until now.
Mine is a vics model so aux 2 is for the vics.. i dont know which output is for the vvt like you have but put your settings there for that one. My vics is set to open at 5300 rpm
Fuel cut is found at power cut tab at the throttle off overrun. It activates at 67 degrees per my setting.
Right thats correct minimum is at 60%.. it really doesnt matter as we're running stock idle control so whatever you put there makes no difference.
On the NB1 the aux 7 is for the passenger fan. In other words it will turn on either when ac is on or when the water temp hits 96C (or both)
Aux 6 on the NB1 is the drivers fan and that turns on at 93C
Aux 11 is just a dummy output when you turn on the ac. I used to use it for extra idle control when i had the adaptronic unit control my idle.
