Help Jeff make a base map

So i loaded up the map for stock injector NBB and plugged in all the option given to me by Travis that i should be needed to make the car start and idle. I'm certainly running 335cc injectors and power cards (timing and fuel). The power cards only do there thing under boost so the stock ecu is taking care of everything else at idle and driving in vac, then under boost the ecu dose everything but timing and fuel while the pcards add fuel and retard timing. I'm told that the stock ecu will idle on the 335 injectors just fine.
My logic is because the stock ecu in my car is doing everything already i should be able to idle and drive the car (not in boost yet) on the stock NBB map from Adaptronic with very little problem. i'm i just a :loser: or should this work? |
Dude, that is a bizarre setup. Why not just get rid of the power cards and just run the Adaptronic?

Edit ok so my good friend ZX-Tex pointed out how fucked my map was so back to the drawing bored. |

K new map that is working, car drives fine, running rich but that will change. i took the stock NBB map and imported Zx-tex's fuel and spark map. i looked at my log in MegaLogViewer and it says i knocked a max of 81 and i was just stop and go cruising with autotune not more then 4 psi maybe under little load. do i need to worry and/or are my knock values right? i got them from zx-tex's map, 99 turbo and i'm 02 super.

It's seems to be normal. Here's mine @ ~150kpa. Not sure how much real knock there is since the knock level is usually higher on the way down off the gas. Using closed loop ignition to pull 1deg/70.

The Adaptronic log value is after the knock map has been applied (changed for correctness)
Start a log, run your engine from idle to high rpm under light throttle (to be sure it is not knocking) and then plot out knock versus RPM in Excel. That is how I built my profile for the knock filter. Who knows, your supercharger may add some more background noise, so a log and plot exercise as described above may be a good idea. |

No. Right now its set to pull 1* when it senses 1 count of knock. You need to raise that 1 up to 70.
That is what sv was saying. just updated my map |
OK I was wrong about the knock logging! (corrected previous post). The logged knock value is the value AFTER the knock filter map has been applied. So, for example, if the raw measured knock value is 100 @ 4000 RPM, and you have a knock map value of 80 @ 4000 RPM, then the logged value is 100-80=20.
