If you had a chance to do it all over, how would you do it?

Hey there all,

I am expecting to receive my Adaptronic with 600cc injectors, 3 BAR MAP, GM open IAT, and some other goodies this week.

So far my car is bone stock and my plan is to begin to install my BEGi turbo setup from my totalled 99 onto my 02 SE. There are a few questions I do have for everyone:

In an order of what to do first, would you all suggest that I install the turbo first and then test the car for issues... or install the turbo and while in there toss in the 600cc injectors with the adaptronic?

My concern is that if I do it all at once... if I bugger something up, I will have more to troubleshoot; however if I do the full install of the turbo and pass on the injectors + ECU... I can't do a whole lot with the car! (Oh, and I'll have more stuff to work around if I do the injectors at a later point.

Also, who has a good map that they are willing to share that will be good for a 2554 turbo w/ IC on a 2002 SE? I will have 600cc injectors on the stock fuel pump, AEM UEGO, EGT gauge, Boost Gauge, 3" exhaust with CAT and 3 friggin O2 sensors in it? Looks like most of the guys that I have seen have built engines with higher compression and whatnot... any of you guys running stock internals?

Anyhow, just wondering what you all would do if you were in my shoes. I have a few days to plan before i start tearing into my new car. Still taking stuff of my 99 and getting fresh powder coating done on IC pipes and getting my IAT sensor bung welded in place. :)

Thanks all and cheers,
Matt

Interesting position to be in. If it were me, I would do Adaptronic first, get it running, then 600's, then turbo. Minimize the variables. You could do Adap and 600's at the same time to skip a tuning step but if you are not boosted at the time it should be a pretty close scale. I scaled my stock injector map 58% and it was close enough to run and autotune.

I'm running similar to what you are installing, same injectors, similar sized turbo, stock internals and fuel pump. Still working on tuning, but should be able to help with a base map that is better than nothing when you are ready.
