Injector Duty Cycle

Where do I view Injector Duty Cycle with Adaptronic. I can't seem to find it in Wari.

y8s 04-01-2010 09:54 AM

if it's not on the F11 screen, it may be in help --> calculation trace

dgmorr 04-02-2010 10:54 AM

There's no logging of injector duty cycle is there?

neogenesis2004 04-02-2010 10:55 AM

AFAIK its all just opening time in ms.

18psi 04-02-2010 11:01 AM

Yeah I haven't found it in Wari either

y8s 04-02-2010 01:23 PM

you want easy? plug this equation into MLV and name it "DC" in the custom fields section.

Field Name:
DC

Formula:
100*[Inj (ms)]/(2*60000/[RPM])

it'll give you the duty cycle as a displayable graph.

/\ That is awesome

neogenesis2004 04-02-2010 01:45 PM

I want it hard.

try a pump.

fyi, the units will be in percent even though I didn't put that anywhere.

timk 04-03-2010 03:42 AM

Speaking of pumps, what does the "Pump" value mean that is logged at times? Something to do with acceleration enrichment?

huh, i never noticed. but based on context and how it spikes only during TPS increases... what do you think it might be?

cjernigan 04-04-2010 10:54 AM

That formula is how we've been calculating the duty cycle it just didn't make sense for there to be no duty cycle gauge already in Wari. Thanks Y8s.

i guess you just need to calculate once and determine what your maximum pulsewidth is at redline. it's not really something you have to monitor a lot if you have some headroom.
