It shifts the powerband down the RPM range slightly when you advance the cam and moves it up if you retard it. If you want to play with the numbers sometime, I have the Desktop Dyno software and have spent countless hours plotting engines and cam combinations. IIRC 4 degrees was good for about a 500 rpm shift, but it's been a while.

were you refering to the VVT? because its not functioning at the moment. so it is at default, which is full retard.

I want it to go full advance ~ 3000-5000 rpm to get a big bump in mid range torque.

update, I got the DRF files. here is the BEGI intake VS IRTB's pic. Blue is the latest with the BEGi intake and Adaptronic ECU.

FYI, I got VVT working now too, so when I go back the TQ in the LOW RPM's should be much better.
