Default Crappy post-crank idle

My post-crank idle is crap right now. I have been trying different post-crank enrichment settings and am not there yet. Getting tired of screwing with it. What are you guys using?

Once the enrichment goes away it idles and runs just fine. Seems like I tried it with no enrichment at all and it was still not right.

I'm using y8's enrichment settings and added +2 to each from 30*-45* and -1 to each from 100*-105* and its decent. Not perfect still but getting there and definitely not bad. Idle afr is anywhere between 15-13.6 almost always.

I use about 20 for 1250 for short
and 30 for 25000 for long

is your "coolant enrichment low MAP" set properly?

generally speaking,
if it starts good and slows down and dies, it's too lean.
if it starts slow and sputtery and cleans up and idles normally, it's too rich.

add/subtract in 5% increments to get a feel for those two points. of course it's kinda hard when it's warm but... you get the idea.

Right now it starts slow and sputtery then cleans up and idles normally. So I think it is too rich. I'll mess with it some more. I'll also check the "coolant enrichment low MAP". I think I set it up but need to double-check it.

Which injectors are you running again?

Thanks

550cc.

I'd drop the long post crank. sounds like that's where it's causing problems.

remember it's mostly used to provide enough fuel for combustion when the motor is too cold to maintain reasonable atmoization and intake wetting. thats why you can sometimes see lean conditions even when you're dumping in fuel at startup.
