Default BMW VTPS on 1.6 NA Miata

I am wiring BMW VTPS to my 1.6 NA Miata using the pig tail tapping directly into the stock harness. I am not getting any reading for anything kesser than 50% from the BMW VTPS. Anything over 50% is running fine.

Have you got any experience with it that you can share with me?

just to confirm.
Should I be running 1L or 2N to TPS 5v in adaptronic?
After some search, I found the following:
RED is your positive 5 volt
BLACK is your negative, or ground
GREEN is the signal wire

Is Green 1N or 2L?

Are you using the Adaptronic PNP harness or your own?

I suspect i m not getting 5v. Which ECU wire is for 5V to the TPS?

In that case I don't know. It should be in the install docs on the Boundary Eng. website.

Why not share the solution to your issue with the rest of the class? Maybe a mini-howto?

Well, the adaptronic PNP harness is set up for 92 NA Miata with on/off TPS. In order to fit a BMW TPS, you need to wire everything up here:
http://myturbomiata.com/journal/thumbnails.php?album=38

Now, the tricky is, the adaptronic pnp harness does not supply 5V signal. It is wired up to Aux 7 for "Close Throttle" and Aux 8 for "WOT"

What you need to do is to move from Aux 8 to TPS Signal (from A1 to A10) and Aux 7 to TPS 5V (A11 to A19).

Afterthat, recalibrate your TPS and you are good to go! Say goodbye to shitty idle

Thanks to the good people from Adaptronic who are ever so responsive to my questions and my friends from www.driven.com.sg
