Default Idle Air Trim

I tuned my idle settings in the 15-20ēC ambient temps and noticed a slight drop in rpm ( 840rpm solid at 15ēC then 790rpm at 45ēC) when intake temps heatsoak at 45ēC. I solved adding 3% in the open value.

I decided to put some numbers in the idle air trim. Discuss

Is this strictly an open loop trim or does it also have an effect when running closed loop idle?

What is the method for tuning idle air trim? There isn't anything in the installers manual on tuning it, that I know of and I've left all values set to 0 for now.

My intake temps are "normally" 60 degrees C after the intercooler!

Damn JRSC kit!

Of course. As soon as I can I will pass my current map to a. Yes, I know, I am wrong to not have a current backup on my computer.

open loop settings have a lot to do with closed loop, just look at the calculation trace

Put the 0 value in the IAT temp cell in wich you tuned your idle, use the correction needed with an higher IAT (induce this boosting a few times until you get a hot intake temp at idle and your idle begin to slowdown), extrapolate values between cells, done.

Here you go

This is with a 2,5bar map sensor (DIYautotune). VE map won't work if your car setup is not close to mine:

-Huge 50lb/min turbo wheel that spool horrible (yes, I was when I purchased the turbo) so high map at low rpm are not tuned.

-Stock cat and muffler.

-Stock 265cc injectors.

Awesome, thanks! I am still using stock injectors. I just want to see someone else's cranking settings with stock injectors. I can barely get mine started with stock injectors so I'm afraid to move up to bigger ones until it's sorted out. How fast does yours catch from cranking?
