This shows a tune and the pretune log. The tune used statistical analysis and some techniques to determine a 3-dimensional function for the injection map. Thats why one part of the map is super smooth.

If any of you guys get a rough map down, but its got some peaks in it, I could analyze them for you and smooth them out. I might do the first couple for free, but I'll have to charge at some point. It takes a very long time to develop maps using that method, but it really does a good job at detecting what happens to VE under different loads and R.P.M.'s So you end up with a map that produces VERY good AFR's.

Do you have any proven base maps for a boosted NB?

No I don't have any I would personally trust as 100 percent good basemap. So here is what I would recommend.

I can setup your aux outputs. I've got the wire diagrams here to do that. I'd then recommend using the NBB map on the adaptronic website. Based off my map I would imagine they are using stock injectors. So I would select the whole map and add 15 percent to the fuel. Then I would select the whole ignition map and subtract 15 percent. So the motor should be rich and retarded. From there you can extort all the horsepower you want while being safely boosted.

I'm also working with an Australian company. I might be able to get them to give me something.

What kind of curve fit function do you use for VE?

I used a whole ton of functions for the fit, but just tried to minimize r.m.s.e. I believe what I ended up with was a 5th degree polynomial in the rpm axis and a third degree polynomial in the KPa direction.

I did that fit every 1000 rpm and added a correction factor function to the KPa function. I did the same correction factor for the rpm function using the KPa function. I then interpolated using the method of double limits.

The first time I did it took a long time because I had to work out exactly what functions were going to fit the best. After I've been through the process it only takes about an hour.
