Software Questions
Hey guys,
I did a few searches and couldn't come up with much. I am still waiting for my Adaptronic to arrive, so I'm doing as much research as I can before it gets here. When looking at the fuel/ignition tables while tuning (engine running, car on the road etc), is there something to indicate what current cell the engine is in/on? Or do you have to go by the gauges and try to guess if you are in that cell? Is there a real time floating indicator that goes through the cells as your engine sees those points? Is there a simulator so that I can play with the software using a virtual engine? Thanks for any help. |
Go to the boundaryengineering site. Software. Download the software for the Adaptronic. Play with it as much as you want.
And it always shows you what part of the map you're in. And when you're making changes in the lower portion, you can hit space bar and itl take you to the current rpm/load |
I have the software and have been familiarizing myself with it. It's just not as intuitive without some sort of inputs to see any changes. I wish there was a engine simulation that could be played with, but that would be rather useless if someone already had the unit.
How does it indicate what cell the engine is in? Does a highlight float around? Thanks again. |
When you hit spacebar it highlights the cell the car is in on the map.
Also there are 2 highlight lines constantly moving as the rpm/load is changing. You know where you are AT ALL TIMES. |
It's in the "Text Map Colours", select "Highlight Current Cell". Need to have one of the later wari versions.
