Miata Turbo Forum - Boost cars, acquire cats.

I am about at my wits end with this car. Is there anyone in Dallas/Fort Worth Texas who is knowledgeable about the adaptronic 420 setup on a mazdaspeed motor?

I have owned this car for over a year and got a dyno tune completed at True Street motorsports and no one can get this car to idle correctly with the AC on.

AC on or off, the car doesn't start right and likes to die. It takes forever to turn over, and you have to play with the throttle for the first minute or so to keep it from dying.

Once it's running, and you turn the AC on, the idle jumps all over the place and the compressor starts switching on and off as the car all but dies before it saves itself.

I just got the AC system completely overhauled with new lines, new freon, and everything tested - same problems, only now I have a new one. When I drive down the road at any RPM, the compressor is switching on and off about ever 2 seconds so my ac is barely keeping the car cool, and still when you get to a light it sounds like I am revving at everyone. I have verified that the freon is not too high or low.

This is a mazdaspeed motor in an 01 with a 2.5" turbo back catless exhaust, flyin miata hard pipe intake, speed density tune, and e420c ecu. Car absolutely refuses to run correctly under anything other than WOT.

Can anyone help me out with this? I am not very mechanically inclined and tend to take my car somewhere to be fixed, however no one knows how to make this system work.
