Hey guys.

Iv been working on getting this 99 running on ems4 i am getting very close but i cant get it to fire properly i am thinking i have the coil/injectors setup wrong. just looking for another set of eyes on this.

Car is basically stock 99 with a 12+1 crank wheel running tps based fueling and stock coils

The ems4 is wired up with a boomslang harness for now

I have cam sync iv got fuel but its not running after sync

Any help would be apreciated

I think you need to revise your coil phasing to match the injector phasing, and turn on knock sensor 1. Also, what injectors are you using?

i did that and it still sputters. im using the stock injectors. i messed around with the coil dwell and the advanced pickups it still sputters but wont idle though i can pedal it and get it to run reallly rough.

Under the setup wizard you have the RC 650 injectors selected. You should have a smaller injector selected, but not sure which one is ideal. Assuming you are running the ECU in parallel with yours, which would mean that the stock ECU is likely controlling idle. You should not need to mess with coil dwell if you are using the stock coil pack.

anyways figured it out. changed the injectors to the gm dodge 270's and turned off tps fuel and got a map sensor hooked up. ran for a little idled way high but tomorrow is another day.
