AEM EMS 4 VVTI Setup
Good day I have been trying to figure out if this EMS can control VVTI. AEM Says no. Everyone else says no. Only guy who has come out and said yes is savignton. I would like to know if it can and what are the steps to configure it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You |

Don't fight it, it will only make him harder. Just relax and let him finish
|
How do i nominate this for thread of the year?
|
lol. Fair enough.
anyone else to assist with me question. |
Your original question: You can do it. I bet if you searched for something on the subject posted by Savington, you could arrive at how to do it within about 30 seconds, as i did.
Hint: GPIO. |

HMM yes i saw that its gpio 5-8. its that he used a series one box. Everyone else is saying that the ems 4 the circuitry is different and all that. Thats why i specified EMS-4.
|
He sets up EMS-4's on many of his current builds/setups and has posted about it a whole bunch of times.
You should keep searching. Or contact him. You're gonna make hussy mad if you keep n00bing up his name like this. |
Well Imma contact him. Thank u all for ur assistance

I don't know what to tell you. I found that information in a thread specifically pertaining to EMS-4, as i was intelligent enough to include "EMS-4" in my search parameters. At this point, you've spent more time replying to posts in this thread than it took me to find multiple threads on this very subject with solutions. "EMS-4 Miata VVT" |
I looked at this thread thinking Trey started it, excited that it didn't have to do with bicycles. I was trolled.
|
RIGHT??!!!
I clicked with the quickness too. And then lost my erection |
Me as well, but it was quickly restored with the phrase "engorged hog."

I miss old hustler so much

OP, VVT is totally doable with an EMS-4 box. You'll need our 12+1 trigger wheel and some settings, all of which are included in our PnP EMS-4 setups. |
EMS4 works fine with my VVT, but the whole shebang came from trackspeed and all I've every touched were the offset when my cam trigger wheel slipped (seems to be an auto-x problem) and the actual table. The control function was spot on. Now the other parts of the EMS4... well lets just say the megasquirt is where the smart money is unless you're going to make tuning it someone elses problem.
