aem fic - help need please :(
hi guys
im pancaking about my fic
i have a 1999 that has a jrsc kit running 67.5mm nose pulley , standard crank pulley so its just a basic kit.
I took my car to the rolling road where the techs fitted my fic but when they put the car on the rollers , the belt shredded. :(
they tried to get me a new belt but had no luck.
They sent me home to return another day this week.
I bypassed the charger and drove the car home
the next morning i goto the car and the flippin thing will only start after cranking for about 15 seconds , then when you let the gas off it dies.
i hooked up my laptop and d/l the cal file. but after looking at a couple of others it looks screwey
can someone please look at my map and offer advice.

Did you read what was on the FIC or did you overwrite with what was on your notebook? I can't see your car running with that map. Set your MAF map to percent and put -13.5 in all the cells. This should get you started. You'll need a scanner to monitor fuel trims to get this number exactly right. The MAF clamp voltage needs to be set to something other than default (around 4.5). The ignition map needs to be set to retard 1 degree per psi boost and finally the fuel map needs a lot of work. DO NOT BOOST without getting some kind of fuel map or even better, leave the belt off until you get it back to the shop. Sounds a bit harsh but the temptation to put your foot in it before things are completely sorted out will be very strong (and the consequences of that action could be swift and expensive!). Fill out your profile - there might be someone in the area that can help you out...

thanks for the help mate
afteralot of head scratching it appears i installed my check valve the wrong way round.....needless to say i felt like a bit of a dick lol
after completeing the rolling road tuning they managed to get 191bhp and 150 torqs
very happy now
although i would love to be able to tune the fic myself over time...i just cannot get my head round it

I have been collecting maps for different applications can you send me yours?
Personally on a miata you can skip connecting the MAF all together.... the car will thank you for it.
I dont know what your Supercharger is putting out but your timing really needed more retard.
191 sounds great what are you boosting at? Hows it your fuel eco?
