AEM map sensors...
Hey guys,
i now have my AEM ems, and im looking at map sensors...
why would the brazz bodied map sensor be 1/3 the price of the stainless.
What is the advantage of the stainless body over brass i suppose?
the brass sensor kit is comparable to a GM map(neither of which i have yet), and it is in a much more compact casing.
sorry if i dont make sense... im on cold meds.

I didn't know they offered a brass body. I've used both the AEM 3.5 bar and 2 bar sensors (the expensive over $100 ones), and the only advantage I can see is they are a bit more durable then the GM map sensor because they use a metal connector for the vacuum line and the GM uses plastic... I would save the money and get a GM one.

is there a possibility that they are newly released?
i found it on this site at the bottom.
AEM EMS Sensors and Replacement Parts - THMotorsports
only reason i was asking was since the price is comparable to the price of a gm sensor.
