Does AEM EMS4 use these?
4 Attachment(s)
I have a non VVT 99 engine with TSE 12+1 Trigger wheel (99 Crank sensor) and Flyin Miata adjustable Intake cam gear with the two set of bumps (99 Cam sensor).
What does the additional tooth on the TSE 12+1 Trigger wheel do? Does EMS4 use that extra tooth on a non-vvt miata? What do the second set of bumps on the Intake cam gear do? Does EMS4 use the second set of bumps or does it ignore it? Thanks |
The EMS-4 uses the extra tooth to determine TDC. It uses the cam triggers to determine phasing. If you're using the pickup settings we developed for the EMS-4, you need all three triggers on the intake cam.
