AEM serial cable protocol
Does anyone know if the AEM serial port talks standard CAN/J1939?
I have a AEM -> VNET cable for my racepak IQ3 (but no AEM ECU) and I was wondering if it's equivalent to racepak's universal CAN cable. It would be really convenient to be able to plug it into a OBD reader's serial output port and get CLT and a few other things from my GM ECU. I've tried contacting racepak, but I'm not really sure if/when I'll get a response and thought someone here may know.
