Tip-in issues with FI

I'm wondering if any of you guys have any suggestions for improving tip-in performance. Between the several maps the AEM offers, I've tried using dTPS, dLoad, and a combination of the two, as well as the other various throttling maps/decay values. I seem to be fairly unable to get tip-in to work well on both big throttle swings (low throttle to WOT) and slow rolling in. Either one turns super rich and the other lean, or the other way around. Now, part of the problem is that I have a large displacement supercharger here, that produces very rapid swings in the amount of air, but it seems like this should still be doable. Any suggestions from people who've gotten tip-in working well, especially on a supercharger system? Right now I'm using mostly dLoad, with a small dTPS modifier to try to smooth out the quick throttle stabs. It works okay, but it tends to go really rich under roll-in.

dLOAD on the AEM series 1 does NOT work worth a damn.

Switch to dTPS. And one of the first things you need to do is to adjust smoothing so that you don't trigger from noise.

Yeah, I played with it some more today, and that's kind of the conclusion I came to as well -- the dLoad makes no sense. So, I think I'm gonna just turn that off and try to make it work with just dTPS.

Any chance you wanna post a pic of your dTPS setup, give me some ideas to work with?

Here's my current dTPS setup. I have the lower left one set to nearly 0 at the first two points to filter out the tps noise. Is there a better way to adjust the filtering parameters?

Spent an hour driving around and playing with settings. Nothing really seemed to make sense. Finally, I decided to turn dTPS all the way to zero and see how the car drove -- turns out, like complete crap. I think I need to get my base fuel map in better shape -- it was definitely tuned for autox, not for daily driving. So, the higher RPM and higher boost settings are pretty dialed in, but not the low stuff. Just a slow acceleration in third gear (@ like 15 in Hg) was getting up into the 17:1 territory around 2500-3000 RPMs. So, time to go back to basics. I'll mess around with dTPS after I can get my steady state fueling in good shape... I think we tuned it in the first place with the default dTPS settings, so the wonky dTPS has been bandaiding/hampering all of my fueling...

Since dTPS relies on percentages of your base fuel map, you really need to have your fuel map dialed before fine-tuning dTPS.

Yeah. I thought we did. When I looked more carefully at the datalogs I noticed that the dTPS stuff was kicking in all over the place, even when just cruising around. Basically, the noise on the dTPS channel was adding a bunch of extra fuel (on average) all the time, and that's the only way that the fueling was working at all. So, I had to set all the dTPS to zero, then get the fuel map working, then slowly dial the dTPS back in and play with the settings to filter out the noise. It's working pretty decently now, but I had to basically start over from square one for my fuel map...
