Kraken turbo kit ducting between rad and intercooler

What's up guys! As all of you kraken turbo kit owners know, the intercooler placement while being convenient to install with the baby theeths is a bit problematic for air flow to the rad. There's alot of air that can escape from the under the rad and on the sides. So i've done alot of research on ducting lately and i've tried to come up with my own that I think is pretty good but not sure if it will work properly.

I'm not an engineer so i'm looking to confirm my design with you guys.

I've basicaly tried my best to force all the air comming throught the intercooler to go throught the rad. I Used hpde plastic as a material as it's pretty cheap.

Only thing i'm not sure is if the space is too tight for the rad to flow air correctly, specialy when pulling air from the fan, will it be enough space to have a good flow?

Here's the before:

also cut my front oem duct to fit in front of the intercooler:

Here's The after my ducting:

Hope it can help you guys or if I done it wrong i'm open to any feed back!

First of all, horizontal (landscape) photos work well when presented that way, not vertical.

So, what problem are you having that has started this line of enquiry? Overheating of the coolant? Inlet temps too high? You have done the ducting of the radiator -allofit?

My build thread outlines my approach, essentially fix the radiator ducting so ALL of the air coming in goes through the radiator. I don't have my IC mounted there, and have not seen a need to separate the incoming air myself, I let nature take its course and it seems to have worked to date.

Air getting to the radiator is most important. If all of your airflow going to the radiator is forced to first go through the intercooler you are doing it wrong. Much or most of the air should be permitted to go around the intercooler and to the radiator.

Give room above, below, and beside the intercooler for air to travel to the radiator. Seal the bumper mouth to the radiator and just let the intercooler sit in the flow in the middle. Forcing air through the intercooler isn't necessary.

You can see my ducting efforts starting here: Lokiel's ducting efforts

Basically I've created two chambers, one to exit the intercooler-warmed air below the radiator incoming-air chamber
and an incoming-air radiator chamber.

There are several advantages to this:
* intercooler pre-heated air doesn't enter the radiator incoming-air chamber
* all incoming air that doesn't flow through the intercooler is forced into the radiator chamber, it becomes a high-pressure chamber so is forced to flow faster through the radiator
* there is very little pressure behind the intercooler so more air will flow through the intercooler

Thanks alot for the help guys i'll try to update my ducting and follow throught!
