Default Semi-Universal Actuator Bracket Now Available!

Clocking turbos is the easy part, but mounting the actuator bracket after it's clocked? Not so much! Bell Tuning & Performance has created a semi-universal wastegate actuator mounting bracket to make it easier! It fits the 2.5" Compressor Inlet Flange adapter and bolts to the turbo. It can we adjusted to the side, reversed, and bent to accommodate bent and straight arm actuators. The mounting bracket also sits the actuator rod high enough to ensure plenty of clearance for the oil inlet fitting. Made from stainless steel to ensure durability and look good!

Well it has to, there's an option to have it bent on the product page. If it wouldn't bend, the option wouldn't be there.

I've had a couple running for several months now with no issues. It can get it made with thicker material easy enough if you are concerned with it bending.

Why is the bolt not seated in the saddle cut out? does it fit? 20lb wastegate would put probably close to 10 ft.lbs of force on this bracket. It will flex for sure.

This one is properly supported. simple. Full circle mounting holes..and for gawd sake, rounded corners. The laser does not care if you make swoopy, sexy parts, but customers do.

SEMI-UNIVERSAL WASTEGATE ACTUATOR MOUNTING BRACKET TUBE MAN!

I usually keep my mouth shut on the forum because I know better.

Its just.. I just remember reading Maximum Boost tons of years ago and the amazing foundation it gave me and knowledge in that book, for the time. Add the innovation and everything accomplished.

To see it boiled down to what Bell is today, and to these newly released products. IMHO, it all looks like backyard DIY Craigslist hardware and craftsmanship. IDK, just seems backwards..

The slot allows for the bracket to rotate. I have two standard clocking configurations for five different turbos. It never fails that the brackets included, or the ones already made will not work. I have just about every bracket ever made on hand to use, and they rarely will work. We don't use the same clocking Garrett does when they ship the turbo. We can always weld on a bracket, but what happens when you have to re-clock it at home? Most people cannot cut it off and weld it back on. Nor can they drill and tap the housing to move the bracket. As long as it is a flanged inlet, the bracket will now work with an SR20, GT2554, or a Chinese turbo - no matter how you clock it. Will it flex? Possible. It's being made from stainless instead of aluminum so that it is stronger. It has not been a problem as of yet, but I will make it thicker to head off a problem. I can see your point on the rounded corners. It would look nicer.

On a scale of one to even, I can't.

And that is fine. There are others who need something like this, and I only use it on some turbos. Not all. We have had too many requests to find an easier solution to ignore them.

Revisions made per feedback! Made from 7g/3/16" Stainless and rounded edges. We tried using 11g/1/8" stainless and still saw a little flex. No flex with the 3/16" though.

I'm glad your intern added radii on those edges.
