$300 off a new BEGI NC Turbo System

BEGI is delighted to announce the release of the New Miata MX5 Turbo System. We are offering the first ten systems at a $300 discount**. This is to soothe ruffled feathers when the picture had the wrong caption, or the anxiety caused when the instructions suggest the use of a 14 mm wrench when a 17 mm wrench is needed.

The power of the new system is not yet determined. We are confident that you will find the significant increase in horsepower a pleasure to drive. The first NC turbo, that was a rear mount system, did 228 whp and 212 ft-lbs of torque @ 8 psi. This was accomplished with very little tuning, a smaller turbo, smaller intercooler, stock header, and stock catalytic converters.

System features:

*Steel Header Style Manifold
*Intercooler
*Cool Air Box
*Heat shields galore
*Bypass Valve
*Garrett GT2860RS Turbo with Ball Bearings and Water Cooling
*Ceramic Coated Turbine Housing
*Stainless Steel Separated Gases Downpipe, shorter in length
*Stainless Steel Braided Oil Supply and Coolant Lines at the Turbo
*Power Steering Reservoir
*Compressor Inlet Tube Heat Shield
*Black Powder Coated Tubes
*K & N Air Filter
*Autometer Boost Gauge
*A-Pillar Gauge Mount
*Black Turbo Hose
*T-Bolt Hose Clamps for Intercooler Tubes
*Relocated Battery
*Comprehensive, Photo Illustrated, User Friendly Instructions.

$3995 Turbo system only

$4995 Turbo system, Xede and Injectors

Shipping costs $ 125.00 USD for continental US.

** The special offer of $300 off the retail price applies to the first ten orders only, with a $300 deposit. This reserves your kit out of the first ten. The 50% deposit will be due when the current prototype car is dyno tuned. The balance is due when the kit is shipped to you. We anticipate the turbo systems to start shipping mid February. If you have any questions, please call for clarification.

Im confused, you guys havent mounted this to a car and dynoed it?

I think its awesome you guys got a turbo kit out for the NC, it almost tempts me to want to sell my car and get new one.

Any pics of the kit?

+1

Why not bolt it up and dyno a car or two?

Also, whats considered "safe" on NC internals? Or is this uncharted territory?

I mis-read and so did you, they are working on the dyno'ing the prototype car.

Dont forget the fine print.

I kid I kid.

No but seriously.

WOW... guess I need to start making some decisions.

I saw the prototype in action on the dyno... it seemed like it had a lot left in it and made some really nice power/torque for such low boost. It's a very fail-safe system as well I won't go into details as that's Stephanie's call, but it's well designed to handle anything that "could" go wrong with a rear mount (or front mount for that matter).

I hate to say it UrbanSoot, I feel bad for you man... If I had to worry about Carb approve stickers and smog cops, then I would either get a ticket out of California, or wait 60 days to get a gun through California regulations, and commence to initiate the self destruction of my life through the explosion of my cranium... :fawk:

Nope. We intend to get it certified, but it is not yet.

It is mounted on the car. The new design has not been on the dyno yet, but the rear mount has. Like Arkmage said, not a whole lot of tuning went into it becuase it heat soaked so fast. I am sure there is more horsepower available out of the rear mount though. The current design is not a rear mount though, so it should produce quite a bit more power.

Pictures are here:

I don't think any one is 100% certain yet. Most everyone is tuning for 8 psi so far. Even thought the compression ratio is higher, I have been assured by Chip Torque that we can still tune for 12 psi with the Xede. We will see what the current car will do. I have already started looking @ pistons for this car though just in case they are needed.

Just what the NC needed! Makes it a car to consider down the road now!
