BEGi Center Exit Magnaflow Exhaust

I've seen the pictures on your site for quite some time, but I haven't seen any pricing or availability info. Are these currently for sale? Do you have them for 1.8L? I love the look of center exit.

What would it cost me for a center exit 2.75" cat-back, with resonator, made from aluminized steel? I don't need that flashy stainless stuff and 3" is overkill for my current goals ;)

The Center exit exhaust is available. Let me get some numbers together for you.

sweet... thanks.

Do you want a resonator in addition to the muffler?
If so, depending upon the resonator, the price would be about the same. What we give a credit for the stainless, we will add more on for the resonator, depending upon the one wanted.
Thanks,
Stephanie

is that a full catback? how large etc?

Arkmage 01-08-2008 09:24 PM

per Stephanie, it is a full downpipe-back. No cat, or provisions for one, but I'm sure they will work with a request for one. 3" piping, 3" inlet muffler with dual 3" outlets.

Pricing is VERY reasonable. I'll likely go this route, but have other priorities at the moment.

tronik 01-08-2008 09:32 PM

how reasonable?

I think the website shows it at 400...shit, even for a NON centerexit...thats where its at.

Are there any sound clips available? or more pictures?

It wasn't on their website yet when I asked and Stephanie didn't post it here, so I didn't want to give up their price... but the $400 you say is on the site now is what I was quoted.

Man i would be all over that if it wasn't center exhaust

I found that one, and the center exit for the 1.6, but I didn't see a center exit listed there for a 1.8? I should have clafiried that earlier.

Braineack 01-09-2008 11:15 AM

its all the same.

Convert ;)

I really like the center exit...more pictures needed though :)

Stephanie Turner 01-10-2008 12:33 AM

Shoot me an e-mail and I can send more photos. :)

We have not done one on a 1.8L, but other than the flange, it should be pretty much the same.

When I get around to it (or someone can help me!) I can post video clips. I have been collecting some video of various things, just have no clue on how to put it on the web.
Stephanie.

Does BEGI make a 3" / 1.8l / downpipe back / non-center exit exhaust?

C

cjernigan 01-10-2008 10:22 AM

BEGI will make anything you want them to. Long as they have a car to build it on and you have money, they'll do anything custom if it's feasible and they have time.

chriscar 01-10-2008 11:03 AM

That's good to know, thanks. My question was more along the lines of wanting to know if it's something they have 'in production' rather than a one-off custom.

Stephanie Turner 01-10-2008 11:46 AM

a 3" dual for the 1.8L NA? Not right now. Corky made his own exhaust, but if he is interested in switching....

Wait, Let me see what we put on Larry's car. It's a '97 dual, but do not remember other details.

Sorry, I'm a Miata noob. When you say dual, are you referring to a dual tip muffler, or to outlets on the left & right side of the bumper? I'm just looking for a 3" system for an NA, exiting in the stock location.

Google Enthuza Exhaust

chriscar 01-10-2008 01:07 PM

Already looked at their site, thanks.

Even if what you want isn't on Enthuza's site, Jason can probably do it. He was open to fielding my requests, and tried to find exactly what I was looking for.

I ended up going with a normal single-tip 3" stainless system, and it looks amazing. As soon as I finish up the BEGi series 4 install, I'll post up some pics and links to vids.

FWIW, I have gotten nothing but terrific help from Stephanie and Bell (I ask alot of questions) since I found Miataturbo net...I looked at one of their exhaust setups recently and the work(man)personship is AMAZING...

Question though...is this JUST a muffler or an entire system? The pic on the site shows a muffler but is listed as "system"

Thanks again Bell!
