The intake manifold is a good part. It always has been. But, there are some cars it should not be used on.

It's valid. The intake manifold should only be used on cars that can tolerate vacuum/boost leaks.

Indeed, a very true statement. The intake manifold should not be used on cars you'd like to drive.

But hey guys, BEGI is turning over a new leaf. Just look at the recent responses by them in this thread!

It is not BS. If you use solid motor mounts, the intake manifold will crack. That has been proven more than once.

What about all the other cracked ones with OEM mounts?

Solid motor mounts caused the incomplete welds.

Both caused by solid motor mounts

....I hear the twin towers were also solid mounted

I do not remember any cracked manifolds with OEM mounts in the last few years. I am not saying it did not happen, I truly don't remember any. I remember a couple with solid motor mounts and one with really stiff suspension. If the welds were truly incomplete, why didn't you send it back? Corky is not perfect, but he would for sure fix it.

It's almost like you don't remember the previous interactions you've had concerning badly-welded manifolds in this very thread, up to and including pictures and a member having one fixed locally because it was easier than continuing to try to deal with you.

ok, so you make a performance part but do not engineer it well enough to be used in conjuction with other common performance parts like upgraded motor mounts and suspension? Come on now, you cant be serious with that.

Did you think people would spend the money on an intake manifold upgrade on a stock car? You must have known it would have to be made well enough to work on vehicles with upgrade mounts and suspension.

Well you see Jesse, Corky's methods are a mystery and Stephanie has no say in them. He builds them the way he's going to build them. So I don't know why you're getting after her about it. Lay off, man. It's a good part.

My car has OEM mounts. My welds were incomplete and I wanted to send it back for repair, but couldn't even get a phone call or message back. In my opinion the intake should have had some kind of bracing. With that being said, I know it wasn't all your fault and I wish you luck in your new business.

Corky has added bracing in the past, and I have photos of it. Send me your manifold, I will have my fabricator fix it. I will have him re-weld it, add bracing brackets, and buff it., I cannot supply you with the brace though and it will not be fixed by Corky. But, I will get it fixed for you. Turn around time is 10-14 days. My new address and phone # is here: https://www.belltuning.com/contact

It's like she's going to weld the manifold but cannot supply the filler wire.
