Begi Intake Manifold
I understand that there's only a few of these left in stock at BEGi because you are in the process of making a different design. Curious if the new one will be targeted at the big power guys or will it be for the masses?

Looks like it's going to be designed for the masses (long runner design)...Either case it should prove better flow over stock.

I plan on making one this winter (well two identical ones actually). With luck I could have them replicated... |

:Edit: Where is more information on this project? The idea is for it to run will all turbo cars. We will see how it works in testing. It is possible Corky might to a 1.6L intake, I will have to ask. With it not being a casting, it is much easier to produce. Stephanie |

Stephanie I'll send you the parts.....just needs to be held together in some fashion...preferably aluminum welding. ;) Idea was to weld the stacks to the stock IM with the runners cut off: Attachment 210571 |

1.6's have the injector bosses in the intake manifold, right? That's a bitch.
EDIT: I see from Scott's pic above that it does. I'm sure BEGI has the right machinery to do the bungs though. Looks pretty nice BEGI :) please post more pics as you progress! |
Do it, hurry! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhh.

Why not have a IM with short runners for better flow at higher rpms? You know, like where the miata falls on its ass...
Those runners look bananas...literally! |
want a development car? I need somewhere safe to store my car while I'm down here.
