Really BEGI (BT?), we want moar cast manifold.

I agree completely with you. I am doubtful of anything Skunk2 makes.

Corky kept the intake manifolds, sorry. My preference has always been the cast intake manifold. I agree with you, but I am not in a position to do anything about it now. Corky made mention of doing a CNC manifold, but you would have to call him to see what his plans are.

It is good to doubt, keeps a person from getting screwed by swindler type businesses. I have TONS of doubt after dealing with BEGi.
Anyways, let other people try out these Skunk2 manifolds and then analyze their reviews. From the looks of the previews it seems to be a solid piece. I like the simplicity of the plenum, hopefully they offer a way to increase its volume like they do with their other proprietary products and that the opening to the runners are properly trumpeted. Curious also to see how the plenum holds up to boost.

Are you secretly employed by junk2 to publicize and hype their products?

I've seen thicker aluminum sheet in a beer can. No wonder.

And you're going to what, sell them back to the Bell clan so they can say, 'Hey we got cast aluminum intakes now!' Classic!

Bell Tuning has a great team, and I think you will be surprised.

I was reminded of this thread the other day.

This post aged well.

Thinking about Begi always makes me a little sad. I have Corky on my Miata FI Rushmore. I consider him to be an innovator in the space. His DFM, quality control, relations, and business acumen clearly impeded his tenure and success. I have personally spoken with him about some really esoteric technical topics, and the dude definitely has chops. I have read probably 50+ books, 100s maybe thousands of technical publications, and 10s or 100s of thousands of posts in the area of all-things-ICE and "Supercharged" remains as the single volume I think every aspiring enthusiast should read. It was instrumental in my personal journey.

Totally agree Ted. It's a bummer things went the way they did.
