Default BEGI Needs Your Opinion on New Oil Drain Line

Kitty and I have decided that we are tired of the red and blue anodized fittings on the oil drain line. We have found two alternatives in a black. Tell us, do you still prefer the red/blue? Or is the solid black or silver and black snazzier?
Thanks,
Stephanie

Silver and black, but my car is so flossed out that everything is black/black, which also matches the cheap-o summit budget fittings.

We're not going for "cheap-o", mainly looks.
Stephanie

p.s. who knew you had such good taste in fittings/colors?

Black/black makes it hard to spot a leak.

Black/gold. But since you don't have that, black/black.

Now let me complain about missing options...

I vote for red/blue. But, only because there is a smaller selection of black fittings available for everything else, and I would rather have it all matching. Keeps life simple being able to go down to the local performance shop and pick up whatever fittings I need without worrying about the matching color being available.

Right.

Except I bought Fragola fittings because they are teal/red. matches my car.

I originally voted for red / blue (because I fear change) but on reflection changed to black / black. It's less cosmetically intrusive, and for folks in CA, that's important. But even in the lesser 49 states, I'm growing increasingly fond of a more OEMish, less 1980's NHRA/Nascarish appearance under the hood.

Would it affect anyone's opinion if the silver/black were reusable, and the black/black was not? Say you needed to shorten a line and wanted to use it again.

my biggest issue is that the JB Weld doesn't match the fittings.
