wow, I must say, that is a HELLUVA deal:)
|
Hey stephanie can you offer even a cheaper option maybe just DP, Turbo, and Mani? for 1.6??
|
Yeah, I will get it up in a few days.
Stephanie |
If we get a few guys with them soon who say these kits work well I believe the Greddy kit will have officially gone the way of the dinosaur.

Frack me... $1,275 for a complete, workable turbo system? That's less than the Greddy!
Seriously, Steph- how the heck are you guys making any margin on these? |
Ah ha! Under a grand for the starter. If I can get a S/G DP made for this, I will bite asap. Or I may even get the starter minus DP and make my own, since I would rather have a bell mouth over the S design DP, which to me doesn't look very good at all. I could keep it at under $1k easily that way, plus maybe another $200 for intercooler and other random little parts. Sounds like a fucking deal!
n/m, I see it now. May just do the full Shanghai kit for now just to get it boosted and on the road, as I have not the time or money right now for the fancier parts. Being as I'm about to move and be without a job for a few weeks, or months. |

Im game for a 2860,71,76 equivalent
any reports good chaps? |
Would you guys happen to have any more pictures of this turbo up close? I haven't seen one in person, and the china chargers vary so much between different makers, I wouldn't want to take a Goggle image as what you guys are selling. You guys use such small images on your website, its hard to see what I may be buying.
|
thanks Steph for helping me out yesterday.
i cant wait to see the kit here, hope all goes well. all i need is a MS ::ahem:: |
So how about those inexpensive turbo systems, huh guys? Wish I had the money for one right now, can't let my father have all the fun in my old MR2 Turbo without having someone that can keep up with him :giggle:

Not sure yet. I should be getting photos tomorrow.
Stephanie |
So how much are the 2871 equivalents gonna sell for i.e. turbo only?
|
$475.00
|
3071r?
|
Thanks Stephanie!
Any chance of photos? I looked over the Begi site and did not see any individual shots of the 2871 turbo. Have you guys done any testing as far as power for this turbo yet? I assusme that the quality is as good as the others your selling. Not trying to sound like a douche, just curious about this Chinacharger Craze |

It did about the same top end power as his previous GT2854. He was not crazy about the spool, but the turbo worked just fine. Stephanie |

First batch of turbos just arrived. These are the T25/T28 Hybrids.
Pictures are here: Chinacharger T25/T28 Hybrid BEGi Stephanie |
I'm curious about these chinachargers...I've heard of the ebay ones literally cracking apart after enough heat cycles. Maybe these are better/different? No idea, but still for the price, it would be fun for a couple months at least. How do you think they'll perform at higher boost than 7psi?
|
I run mine at 13psi
Phil has his at like 15 or 18. |

Tim ran his at 12 psi for 11 months. I did find out these turbos only have a 15 day warranty. Basically enough to make sure it gets installed and runs.
