Another thing to mention is that it weights 8lbs less than the factory IM with the cut flange (seen in the pics). I guess the flange weights 3 lbs alone, so that's a total weight savings of +/- 11lbs.

I prefer your design over your favorite that is based on the flow animations. You could be right about having a bit less volume behind #4, but having a rolling ball of air behind #4 looks like a good thing. It seems to straighten the flow into the air horn and the flow is more even across the cylinders than the tapered design.
If you wanted to taper your design, you could use the outside part of an elbow so it wouldn't be flat.

Brain's IM was actually fairly complicated to make due to the bends in the runners. The BEGI 1.6L intake manifold will look just like the 1.8L one with straight runners.
I bet he gets his manifold installed before I do. Sad. Very sad. I need my Xede back on first.

Two issues:
I need to get a new FPR. Plenum needs to be an extra .25" outward. I'll get an adapter, run a hose to a new FPR...easy fix.
The throttle cable bracket is too close to the TB so I need to figure out a solution to remove the slack.
Pics of it installed are updated. Putting the winter car cover on it and it'll stay parked for a while till I have a solution.

I'm just going to get a hose barb adapter and run a fuel line to a new FPR, easy enough. I might just fit the fuel hose over the OEM fpr and clamp down hard and call it a day....
Bracket sucks, but I think I can fab something simple to fix it. Unless there's an easy way to shorten the cable length....I'm trying to remember what I would do with my bicycle.

You can buy ferrels at Lowes. You may can find one there that would snap in the TB. Worth a look.
Or JB weld the bracket in the right place. That's what I would do for reliability. You know it would work. Be careful rigging up fuel lines. I watched a friend do that and light there Jaguar on fire.

Figure out what you need and get it from Summit Racing. You can buy stainless braided line from them cheaper then you can buy actual Fuel Injection fuel line from Napa, Autozone, etc. Go to a junkyard and get hose clamps off of any Nissan. They have the best hose clamps for fuel injection hoses in the world, short of using the fancy AN stuff. Five finger discount FTW....
From Nissan's. These are 10x better than the shitty ones Autozone sells that just fall apart when you tighten them.

looks like a simple $1.00 wire stop should work for the cable.
I'll more than likely buy a new FPR just because I'll be able to raise my fuel pressure up a tad, I saw 85% DC with my 460s at 232rwhp, if i run 60psi that give me a little wiggle room.
You can buy a pack of those clamps at advanced auto. I have a few of them on my coolant lines.

Yeah you can buy them at the auto parts stores, but they're cheaper/not as strong. A couple years ago they were good. But this summer when I went to buy some I realized the new ones they sell are junk. Tighten them up and the nut strips out or the band breaks. The nissan ones have more threads on the nut. Sounds dumb, but I don't cheap out of fuel stuff.
I bought a Mallory 30-100 PSI regulator from Summit for 100 bucks. It's got a 1:1 boost reference too. Basically just like the Aeromotive but a different color and cheaper.
