Also a small update I got all the bungs welded in and the throttle body flange on. I am tracing down some bolts then its off to the powder coater's to make it shiny black along with the mounting plate for the harness. I am hoping he can get it done in a day or two and maybe this weekend I can slap it on. I will just have to wait and see. Please do not attack my welding it is ugly and I know this but it is functional. Plus all the bungs are unseen from the top so you will never know.

Thanks - if you find that other pair you have, let me know how much you want for it.

Witch do you want? Do you want a pair of 19 pins or a pair of 61 pin or do you want both?

Ok here is a pic of my throttle bracket I made yesterday. I did not get a pic of it on the manifold so you will just have to wait. The manifold throttle body spacer and mounting plate for the harness are all at the power coaters so I will just have to wait to get them back and them go from there. If the heat dies down at all this weekend I may try and start to install my harness just to get the ball rolling.

Here is a pic of the manifold with all the bungs and the bracket on it. I should be getting it back from the coater tomorrow and I will take some really good pics of the whole thing then.

Looking great, man! Any idea on what it's going to cost to have the manifold powder coated?

I am getting the manifold, throttle body spacer, and harness feed through done all at the same time. I have a guy who does great work out of his home garage and said he would shoot it with some other stuff he needed to do so its only $40 for all of it.

Yes freinds FTW. Also Vipermiata the guy near you is really expensive. This guy does wheels for people $225 that is solid color all four wheels with a coat of bake on clear. Sounds like the guy knows he is the only guy in town.

Ok so I went by my powder coaters yesterday and the controller on his oven finally crapped out. He already had one on the way so it only sets me back a day or two. The good news is because of this I was talking to him last night and I am going to have my compressor housing done in gloss black and the exhaust housing done in ceramic black. One it will make everything match and two the ceramic will help a lot with engine bay temps. When it is all done I will get pics and post them for you all.

So last night I picked up my manifold and it looks great! I am cleaning out the holes that got filled with some powder today so I can mount it up soon. Here are the pics of the manifold. I will be picking up the compressor housing tonight and hopefully all the other stuff will be done by monday. Some of the pics did not come out well but the whole thing looks pretty much like the first pic. Some minor imperfections on the bottom but no big deal you will never see it.

Hi Sean, I've been following this thread since the beginning, and I would like to say Thank You and Congrats on your swap. You've been such a great inspiration on this particular swap.
I have more to say, but I have to be on my way to pick up my son.
I'll have to return later. Thanks again. Hope to hear some more good news on this thread.

t6690st thanks for all the support I have worked really hard on this I just cant't wait for the end result.

There are a few updates. I got all my stuff back from the coating shop it took a while to get the exhaust housing done. I have posted pics of everything but my turbo so here is the turbo all done and ready to go. The compressor housing is gloss black and the exhaust is ceramic coated dark grey. All in all I think it looks great. Thank you Mike at Pennshop Customs.

Noice looking coatings. Think I can get away with using VHT on my housing? Just to keep it from rusting.

I think you could but why would you. When you get your turbo back let me know we can take it to mikes and get him to coat it. It will not be expensive and you wont have to worry about the VHT paint coming off. I have had decent experience with the VHT paint when properly prepped and by that I mean if you sand blast it and then bake it out it will stick pretty good.

Also on a side note I decided to keep my intercooler if for no other reason than to keep things simple. I do not want to have to deal with tuning meth and the motor right now so I will just make the piping to keep the intercooler and then later on down the road when I wanna make stupid power get a real turbo and some meth. I have yet to figure out how to make the charge pipes but I am sure it will not be that bad.
