^ No problem dude. It was thuper fun!

You got a sweet hardtop & I got teste-float from your cars acceleration. And a random dude called
you a coke dealer & talked about GF's green pubes. Then he told us we should buy Porsches.

240z is one of my favorite cars of all time. I think if I were to do it, I would be a cheap *** and just throw a l28t in it.

Thats the 2.8 straight six turbo that came on the later models correct?
I've gotten a ride in one of those: very very unimpressed with it to be honest.

With the amount of room in their engine bay though, you pretty much have zero limitations on drivetrain choices.

right i just said i was a cheap bastard. you can do 350whp on a 128t cheaply, if i recall it mates directly to the transmission or the transmission for that motor lines up without issues into the car. Back in '03 I thought real hard about doing one and seemed like it was going to cost me around 1500 to that setup including engine management.

hmm. any problems with it? do you know how many miles you put on it? also, (if you did one) what page has the dyno pull on it? Sorry im at work and i went through a few pages already, just dont have the time to go through all 12! (and im skeptical of turbo's not named garrett, turbonetics, etc, which is why i ask!)

sorry for all the ?'s, just trying to learn as much as i can!

edit: pretty sure you tuned my buddy ryon's evo back in the day. he always told me to hit you up when i go the FI route look familiar?

lol I remember that car

I never had any issues with the turbo. it put down 260whp @ 14psi running super rich, then retuned on 16psi with good afr and more timing and it put down the numbers in my sig (307/287). After about a year of driving it I checked for shaft play and issues and it was in great shape just like the day I bought it. Its still running just fine.
